The Creeland Dancers and the family of late Ken Seesequasis invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Mooshum Ken Memorial Square Dance Showcase and Dry Dance.
Date: Friday, October 18, 2019
Where: Veterans Memorial Hall, Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation

The event will start with a Traditional Soup & Bannock Table Feast at 5pm followed by a Jigging Competition (details below) at 6:30pm and Dry Dance & Square Dance Showcase with performances by the Creeland Dancers and Dallas & Phil Boyer starting at 8pm. There will be a canteen on-site, 50/50 cash draws, and midnight lunch will be served.
Red River Jigging Competiton:
$10 entry fee, 100% payouts.
Jigging Categories: Tiny Tot- 1 – 4y/o; Junior- 5 – 10y/o; Intermediate- 11 – 15y/o; Junior Adult- 16 – 25y/o; Adult- 26 – 54y/o; Senior- 55+.
Late Ken Seesequasis was the husband of Therese Seesequasis and the founder of the Creeland Dancers. Ken passed away on October 15, 2017 in Duck Lake, SK.
